Nowon Fine Art Association Marks Its 30th Annual Exhibition with EverTreasure’s Support

From September 8 to 17, 2026, Nowon Fine Art Association will hold its 30th Annual Exhibition at Nowon Art Museum, on the fourth floor of the Nowon Culture & Arts Center. Titled The Aesthetics of Permanence and Time, the exhibition reflects on what endures as time passes—and on the meaning that art accumulates along the way. Thirty Annual Exhibitions, One Continuing Record

An annual exhibition sustained for three decades is more than a recurring event. It is a record of artists continuing to make work, audiences continuing to encounter it, and a local cultural community continuing to make space for both.

This year, Nowon Fine Art Association presents its 30th Annual Exhibition under the title The Aesthetics of Permanence and Time. The title invites visitors to consider two ideas at once: the things that remain, and the layers of meaning that time gives to artistic practice.

Art does not exist outside time. It is shaped by the moment in which it is made, but it can also outlast that moment—carrying the traces of the artist, the community, and the viewers who return to it. In that sense, an exhibition that has continued for thirty years is itself a form of cultural continuity.

A Gathering Built Over Time

The exhibition will take place at Nowon Art Museum, located on the fourth floor of the Nowon Culture & Arts Center. The opening reception will be held on Tuesday, September 8 at 6:00 PM.

Presented by the Nowon Cultural Foundation and organized by Nowon Fine Art Association, the exhibition is supported by EverTreasure’s platform YEATU, alongside Nowon-gu, the Nowon Cultural Center, the Nowon-gu Chapter of the Federation of Korean Arts and Culture Organizations, and other participating institutions.
