Kim Byeongju’s The moment flower draws inspiration from the form of the traditional Korean medicine cabinet (yakjang) and its intricate decorative patterns. The work embodies both craftsmanship and timeless aesthetics, bridging the wisdom of tradition with a modern sensibility.

The butterflies rising from the opened drawers symbolize the point where tradition meets the present, capturing the very instant when life blossoms like a flower.
