In Seoul, Sori stands up for a friend and becomes the target of bullying. Exhausted, she transfers to her grandmother’s school in the countryside — a place filled with unfamiliar faces and an even more unfamiliar self.

One day, Sori discovers an old letter hidden beneath a desk — a welcoming message once written to a transfer student.

Its words are warm, gentle, and deeply human. Following the clues within, she meets Dongsun , and together they begin searching for the letter’s writer.

From classrooms and hallways to the gym and an old wooden bench, their journey turns the school into a map of memories.

As they follow the trail, they begin to understand each other’s wounds — and quietly, their hearts open.

From Sketch to Screen

The production team of Your Letter traveled across real schools in Korea to capture the authentic light, texture, and atmosphere of youth — the sunlight over a hallway, the echo of laughter in an empty gym.

The film’s OST features a youth choir to embody the purity of adolescence, while the voice actors practiced tirelessly to perfect the delicate breathing, trembling, and silences that define the film’s emotion.

Kindness Always Finds Its Way Back

At its core, Your Letter holds a single truth: “Kindness comes full circle.”

Sori’s small gesture changes someone’s life — and that same kindness returns to her.

In the final act, we learn that the letter belonged to Hoyeon, that Dongsun was once Hoyeon’s friend, and that Sori herself had a connection to Hoyeon in childhood.

Every fragment of their lives fits together — like a letter finally delivered after years of waiting.
