Choi Sohee, Staged

A psychological stage where reality and imagination collide — the moment art becomes finance

About the Work

Choi Sohee’s Staged transforms everyday objects — red curtains, stairs, chairs — into an uncanny, surreal composition. The intense crimson carries a dual meaning of threat and comfort, visualizing the artist’s inner anxiety while also symbolizing a sanctuary she longs to inhabit.

At the boundary between reality and unreality, the work reveals the tension between unease and the human desire for rest. Through architectural structures and bold color sensibilities, Choi Sohee constructs a psychological landscape that resonates with the complexity of contemporary life.

A New Experiment with YEATU

Staged is being introduced through YEATU’s art investment project, offering anyone the opportunity to own a share of contemporary art without financial burden.

The artist’s rigorous academic background (BFA, MFA, and PhD from Hongik University) and consistent exhibition record provide a strong foundation of credibility and growth. With an accessible entry point, this project presents a strategic investment opportunity where collectors can anticipate long-term value appreciation alongside the artist’s career.

YEATU is more than a platform for art appreciation — it connects art and finance, enabling transparent fractional ownership and collective growth.

Why This Project Matters

The Staged project is more than a financial product — it is an opportunity to collectively own a work of art that transforms personal memory and emotion into modern space.

As an emerging contemporary artist gaining attention among collectors, Choi Sohee offers both an affordable entry point and long-term growth potential. This project once again affirms YEATU’s mission: the formula where art becomes finance.
