A Sea Shaped by Time, Where Art Becomes Finance
About the Work
Jeong Jonghan’s Hallyeo Sudo is a monumental piece created through tens of thousands of mother-of-pearl fragments and countless layers of lacquer.
Inspired by the night sea of Tongyeong and the iconic moon jar, the work transcends a simple landscape. It embodies over two decades of the artist’s dedication, layered with the passage of time in Tongyeong itself, culminating in a noble “art of time.”
The iridescent glow of nacre and the depth of lacquer embody the essence of Korean aesthetics, standing as a unique example of how traditional craft can be reimagined within contemporary art.

A New Experiment with YEATU
Hallyeo Sudo is introduced through YEATU’s private bond–based art project.
As the first large-scale product since YEATU’s integration with BNK Bank, this project represents more than art appreciation. It introduces a transparent structure of fractional ownership, where art can be experienced as both cultural and financial value.
YEATU is building a platform that bridges art and finance, enabling anyone to share in the ownership of artworks and participate in the growth of artists.

Why This Project Matters
The Hallyeo Sudo project is more than a single offering—it is a pivotal moment that demonstrates the new formula where art becomes finance.
